Grew Up Too Soon: Parts III and IV

III.

Young buds
seen as rosebuds
to those who are thinking
with the wrong heads,
and these creeps,
claiming they are so deep
are quick to justify
the brushing of tips on nips
the rising of hands on thighs
as lies.

IV.

Does she not see the remnants
of babysitting gone wrong?
Semen mixed with blood
mixed with tears
covered with Glade fresh scents
and lavender incense.
Does she not see the eyes
of youth slowly dying,
although when she asks her about her day,
she claims she is “all right”?
